For our seventeenth project today we’re making a mixed media reverse canvas using red, white, and green card stock for holiday themed decor. We create a faux wood effect with collage paper and wood grain stamps as well as add silhouette portrait digital die cut letters/design elements.

Our eleventh project is a set of birthday cards, using Neenah Classic Crest ivory card stock and Curious Metallics once again. We are also using the watercolor smooshing technique, gel crayon stenciling, perfect pearls, and sequin embellishments. Enjoy!

Our ninth project is inspired by a season of “congratulations” – using metallic card stock to die cut the sentiment and embellishments, we utilized an ink smooshing technique for the rest, and popped the sentiment up on foam for dimension.

Our eighth project involves using a brush embossing pen to hand letter a sentiment for a best friend card. We use distress ink in a darker hue than the pop tones card stock to create a soft floating effect, then add a few enhancements and hand-cut glossy heart accents.

Our seventh project is a greeting card “Just Because” – using watermelon inspired colors and flexing our hand lettering muscles, with heat embossing through a stencil, and ink blending as well.

The sixth project features a custom envelope to accompany the handmade card we last made for Father’s Day. We are carrying over the wood grain themes, this time opting for a brush calligraphy sentiment.

The fourth project is a black glitter paper and vibrant watercolor card using a sea salt technique that creates interesting texture. It also features a hand-lettered greeting.

The fifth project featured here is a Father’s Day card, using Basis card stock, a score board, and mini ink cubes to create a DIY wood texture for a masculine style.
